Gimpdome

As of September 25th 2010 both the Sig of the Week and Theme of the Week will be discontinued. Submissions will be taken till that date. After the submission time is up there will be a finale vote for both Totw and Sotw. The voting will last the normal amount of time (2 weeks).

It has been a good run for both and we have all had our ups and downs with them, but in the end it is time to let them go.

It is time to move forward and present a challenge that will be more dynamic and allow for a wider verity of submissions. In the coming days or weeks the new challenge will be presented to the community.

I agree!  Woohoo for a new challenge!  I think that having one challenge to work on gives our members more time to make their entry as awesome as they can!

After a few years of doing the sotw and at least a year of the totw we decided it was time for some thing new. There were also some minor issues that got discussed by the staff to improve the challenge of the events. IN the end i am excited to see this event take place. I think over all it will be a fun event for all.
