First, its not the Mac update logo, its the Camino logo!



But you're right, it could work with some logo's, but not this because it haven't got anything to smudge really, i just thought i would try...

I thought your first 'Attempt' was fine... quite seriously.

I was going to use that render, Hi Dude, but i happened to take 2 hours of searching to find this one, which i liked much.  Umm but you did something wrong when you smudged on the outside of him.  Must of set up a different type of mode to it or something because that dark outline shouldn't be there.  Although i really like that color theme.  Keep up the good work!

But to give you a tip you should try to use that sig and modify it with Darth Gimp's Hulk Tutorial.
