Thanks for pointing me towards your tutorials! The bumpmap tutorial taught me a lot about bumpmapping and the technique in tutorial produces a really beautiful effect on pretty much anything.
Using both of the tutorials I was able to create the following picture.
I created the base for the keyring from scratch by using bumpmapping along with the little hole. The background for the keyring was done using this tutorial and then setting the layer effect to "soft light".
If I wouldn't have used these tutorials this would have probably just been a piece of badly treated pixels. Thank you for sharing these great tutorials, Hi-T3k~HillBilly! Tutorials like these make me appreciate Gimp a lot more!
