Animated Kaleidoscope Script/Plugin Combo. I've created a script that uses an existing kaleidoscope script (TM kaleidoscope) to create animated versions. Will work with a single image OR on an animation.
Due to the way the TM script is set up, I recommend that you use only square images. It does not work well with rectangle image sizes and I really have no desire to modify the TM script code to work with rectangle images.Here's a sample result:
Download the zip file (

Put the both scripts in your GIMP scripts folder: C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.0\share\gimp\2.0\scripts and refresh your scripts.
Open up the desired image/animation
Go to Filters > Animation > TM Kaleidoscope Animation...
Set the desired parameters, hit the OK button, and let the script do the rest.
Save as a gif.
