Apophysis 2.05 beta-2
« on: December 25, 2006, 12:25:01 AM »
1 of the 4 project admins, Zueuk, released today the updated beta version for 2.05. In it, from what ive read from his DA journal includes a new variation, Curl, updated scripter, and support for post-transforms. Not sure yet on what else is new, but I shall be checking it out soon. For others who wanna try it, the link is here.

It's not worth it, trust me. I'd much rather have z+ as it includes several new[er] variations, and allows previously impossible weight value differences [which I will not get into, because I don't fully understand it myself]. However, the curl variation IS pretty neat-o.

Z+ is good, yes. Maybe far superior. But there is still people who cant get it to work. Like me for example. I seem to have gotten a bug from Z+ which restarts my computer 50% when I run Z+, but is fine when i go with the normalcy.

Plus people might like the new features included ;)

I had similar problems when I first got z+

But when I removed it from my laptop, re-installed Apo 2.02, and replaced z+, it worked fine. I just had to reroute the rendering and param paths to their proper directories. I dunno, maybe it's a matter of chance-- perhaps I got lucky.
