Welcome to the Dome!

The concept of the sig is an interesting one. You will hear about your text, but in the interest of getting better I think there are a few things to look at here.

Some of these are:
  • placement and the rule of thirds
  • depth, contrast, and details
  • lighting
  • text

Please do not take this list as a bash as I do think you have an interesting idea here.

As an example of how simple techniques can help, please consider this. By adding a new layer to the top of your layer stack and setting this new layer to overlay, you can then add a gradient that goes from white to black. This will increase the focal range of the sig by drawing the eye to where you want it to be.

Here I duplicated your sig and applied an unsharp mask. I added a new layer set to overlay and used a bi-linear gradient with a light grey to black. I also used a gaussian blur on that layer to soften the transition. What do you think of it?
