KnotPlot

This is some very cool software for all platforms; however, it is very difficult to use.  Just thought I'd pass the link along for anyone interested.  Can create anaglyphs (for 3d glasses viewing) and can export to some 3d model formats.  Can also export images (ppm and pgm format - gimp can open them).  As I said, it's difficult and the help files are lacking, but it's fun to play with.

Here's a couple of quick images I prepared.  This is a default knot that I stumbled upon by continually clicking one of the buttons in the catalog.  I then rotated and scaled it to better fit the screen.  The colors were automatically assigned by the software.

This is, of course, an anaglyph version to be viewed with 3d glasses.  Let me tell you, the depth on these knots is incredible!

I'd rate you as an upper-middle-lower-mod with pro-novice-inter tendencies.....and a twist of lime!  Of course, my rating scale is completely objectively subjective, but ALWAYS consistently inconsistent.
