we have someone who is heavy into animation. i'll have to work that into an up coming challenge.

Do you prefer DG or Darth Gimp? Yes I gobble up all the tuts I can find when I have time and even reading them, I will still probably have a difficult time choosing GAP or Inkscape. I work full time and homeschool two of my kids, so I do not get anywhere near enough time to play or take tutorials.

Well, I would pick one or the other.. are you interested in Vector Graphics? If so, then maybe look at inkscape. With a limited time, it would be easy to lose focus as to why you do graphics.

As for the name thing, either is fine.. I just prefer to not be called late for dinner.
