Yeah, I'm glad I was able to figure it out.  It certainly adds soem oomph to things.

Yours looks really good!

I'd rate you as an upper-middle-lower-mod with pro-novice-inter tendencies.....and a twist of lime!  Of course, my rating scale is completely objectively subjective, but ALWAYS consistently inconsistent.

This is an awesome tut Fence. Excellent use of the Map Object filter, I've never thought of that. Now I've found the perfect tool for object perspective alteration.
Cheers :D

verry nice tut indead..

only two thing to complain to :)

1. stop center all the text, makes it really hard to read/follow.
2. number the steps instead of black dots make it more easy to follow and easy to ask for help.

my 2 cents..

and 2 of my results. (made some changes)

Good points, luk!

In reference to your point #1, I give you permission to modify my post to remove the centering.
Point #2 - from here on out my tutorials will have numbers for the steps.  Would you like them in outline form also?  Point 1A.001a as an example?  ::)  Your wish is my command!

Nice job on the examples.  #1 (Although you didn't number them!) is my favorite.  #2 is a little blurry looking....probably the bevel and angle creating that result.

Looks to me like his #2 is the same one just without the top flat text layer. Cool effect I say.
