yes... brushing where light will go, change the layer mode, and it makes it brighter :)

Okay, i wanted to help so this is my probably not so useful try!



Red: i have a square on the first one, because that's showing the first layer of brushing, i think he brushed all over the image lightly and gave it those rays of light look on the Right arm that i put squares around.

Teal: The Dodge layer gives a more vibrant color to the image and really brings out the light feeling that he is trying (and succeeding) to create.

Green: As you can see the overall flow of the image has changed by the end of the 2 layers.  The colors are much more contrasting around the whole image, creating a nice flow fromt he background to the smudged edges of the green beast, hulk.  :P

I hit some problems along the way with layers, but i worked around them carefully.

thanks i had some trouble following certain directions so i did some guess work now that i take a second look it seems better(but not better than my sig)
