The Quick And Easy Way to Use a .flame
« on: November 01, 2006, 06:16:21 PM »
Ok, i thought i'd post a short thingy here
on how to actually use these .flame files that people share here :D
This is just for any n00bs that don't know how

Very simple now:
1. Copy the code and paste into Notepad
2. Save as type "all files" and on the end of the flame name type .flame
Ex. MyCoolFlame.flame
3. Open Apophysis whatever version
Note that not all flames will work with older versions
4. Go to File > Open > and open up your flame file!

Now tweak the flame and USE it for learning
It's probably not a very good, or smart, idea to change it a little bit
and then post the flame as your own

Just a warning ;)

its neatly written. and surely it saves your flame and it works.

actually im not meaning to take over or anything.

but you can also

Copy the Code and press Ctrl+v in apop , i learned that trick over at fracfan forum recently. ( this only will copy it into apop wont save it though. the way toads explained it will save it.)

Yah thta is an awesome trick. Used it the other day. Handy as all get out.

For the most part Apo ver 2.05 beta will read all flame types execpt the custom ver of Apo that a dude at DA made. The flame may look a little odd though.

Ver 2.04 will not read ver 2.05 and above but will read 2.04 and below.

It sounds confusing at first but once you get into Apo you kinda find the ver you like and tend to stick with it. I my self love ver 2.05.
