I've been away from the brush conversion process for a little while, but was requested to do a couple of sets. I've added them to the project GIMP BC site. The Kanji Brush set is really sweet, albeit a bit large. However, you can reduce the size of them if you want.
Since my creativity has really tanked lately, I've decided to start doing some more conversions until I find some inspiration, get tired of converting, or I find out that the new GIMP will support even the newest PS brushes (not really sure to what extent PS brushes will be available).
So, if you're interested in new brushes, keep your eyes open.
Well, if you haven't checked out droz and my dA site for brushes lately, you might want to take a gander over there. I've converted/uploaded 50+ sets from
redheadstock in the last several days! She's got some really unique brushes to say the least!
Hopefully, in the next few days, I'll have all of her's coverted/posted. I've also downloaded some new ones from
axeraider....he's got some really good stuff as well.
As I previously said, with GIMP 2.4 coming out soon, there's supposed to be support for PS brushes. I'm not sure to what level, they'll be supported, but we shall see. If it's full support, then the conversion process will come to an end. But, if it's limited support, I'll continue to convert/post brushes as the feeling hits.
