I like the chair of life one.  Even though you can see the areas where the camera pieced the images together it looks pretty good and could, IMO, look great if you did some postwork on it.  Especially to make the clouds "pop".  Not sure sure what techniques to use cause I generally don't do photo stuff.

The Sunset would look better if it weren't for that powerpole in the middle.  It completely takes control of the image.  I would be willing to be that you could delete that part and bring the two halves together without much notice.  Or use the clone brush.  The clouds looks great in that one as well.
I'd rate you as an upper-middle-lower-mod with pro-novice-inter tendencies.....and a twist of lime!  Of course, my rating scale is completely objectively subjective, but ALWAYS consistently inconsistent.

I agree with Fence here they are both very nice images. A little post work on Chair and it would really come to life. You might want to see if Paint Wit Light would help bring out some of the minor detail and get those clouds to jump out.

I really do think you could get that pole out of the image easy with the clone, smudge, and blur tool.

let me warn you that you will want to be careful with this image and the PWL Technique. I think it will help but the warning is to be careful to not blow out the colors. experiment and keep the brush opacity low.

There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.
