Alright, as I am new and rather bored out of my skull, I shall revive the spam thread [which has not been posted in since April 13 of 2009] by rambling on about how bored I am right now. My mom's watching the Vancouver Olympics [Ice Dancing] and I am forced to listen to it from the other room. What is the point of Ice Dancing anyways. It's more boring than Figure Skating [which is boring enough to me]. Ballroom dancing on skates ok to each their own. I prefer stuff more like the Winter X games. Snowboarders hurling themselves down a hill at break-neck speeds and crashing face first into the snow Now that's not boring! The half-pipe boarders almost taking their heads off when they screw up a jump and nearly hit the top of the pipe. OR when they don't rotate enough and wipe out on teh landing and snort snow Or for the certifiably insane athletes ... riding a snowmobile up a little hill, flying off the top of the hill and then doing a flip in the air on the snowmobile, then landing on the other hill to complete the trick. I've seen those insano's frak the jumps up and have the snowmobile land on them! I'm thinking "ouch" is not the word they are screaming when that happens.
The weird thing is is that I hate winter and the snow, but I love to watch the snow sports. Prolly cause I'm in a warm snug chair in the house watching on the tv and not trudging around outside in the horrid snow like the abominable snowgirl
Earlier on this evening I finally used one of those USB stick thingies for the very first time. I cleared out a lot of my folders and decided to put all the Gimp related stuff on the stick. Cripes, I never realized just how many brushes, patterns, scripts, gradients and fonts I had!! wow I've got a LOT of nifty stuff I've crammed into Gimpster
From the Gimp site where I downloaded the program from, to Deviant Art and various font sites I've stumbled upon.
Next up on the cleaning of the puter is the pics I've collected for photo manip fun. Since I can't draw I do quite a bit of the manip stuff. *sighs* Though I would love to try one of those tablet thingermabobs. They are pricy and I'm a poor girl, so I shall have to wait for my lottery numbers to come up for me to buy all the real fun toys
Ok rambling done.... I'm gonna go watch a Harry Potter movie now... buh byes for now
