I did use lighting effects, though it looks just a bit odd


EDIT: just randomly made this, which as normal didnt come out as i expected



and i cant seem to darken what the lighting effects brightens, without making it darker than what it already was

Change how bright the lighting effects is.
The part that is lit is white pretty much, but i want it to be a little less bright

if you made it on a separate layer you could lower the opacity of it or change the layer to grain merge or something. duplicate it a few times and play around with layer modes xD
