Dangerous Date
« on: November 25, 2009, 07:34:48 AM »
Somewhere in North Africa

After decades of Civil Wars the old Capital is as a Ghost city
Only few elders remain living there..sort of living

War is over but not for their minds : they still live in fear and despair hidden as rats in the ruins of their houses

A perfect place for Her...

Maybe for you was not such a good idea accept the date

But for a wandering Tourist the terrace of Her Palace seems such a romantic place, ..and She know so well how fascinate the prey

(full size http://www.flickr.com/photos/photocomix-mandala/4126651941/sizes/o/ )

a very old photomontage, i mean a old style collage done with cutter and glue
lost and found ,
Now scannered and edited with Gimp ( &Gmic )

Sorry for the credits:
too much time passed , but as excuse i believe not even the authors would recognize the traces of their originals (except for the new sky from Bill Strong )

I only remember that the BG was a photo titled "the city of dead&quot cut from a weekly journal ; maybe she was a model from a old service of a fashion magazine

anyway as exception in my stream i believe this maybe well a good case of fair use

Nevertheless if somebody would be able to trace the originals (but again will be hard even for their authors)i will be happy to add all deserved credits

Concept is mine.

i like the effect.  you can use gmic for ever and not use it all....it seems.  there are so many things it does.

the image seems a bit flat.  i mean there needs to be more depth with the girl.

correct she even has not shadow

but with that kind of light i would really do not know where place her shadow

And then she is supposed to be a Vampire and i read somewhere that vamps have no shadow

it seems like the light comes from the front right and an angle.  i think that's vamps can't be seen in a mirror. :)
